Sustainability

MOAB · Responsibility

Better choices.
Longer life.

We don't see sustainability as a single label or a claim of perfection. For us, it's about making more conscious decisions, reducing the unnecessary, and designing products that can stay in our lives for as long as possible.

Our Approach

Fewer promises.
More thoughtful decisions.

It's not enough to consider a product's impact only at the moment it's produced. How it's designed, how long it's used, whether it's truly needed, and how much function it serves in life are also important.

At MOAB, our goal is not to claim that we are perfect. We aim to progressively improve our decisions regarding materials, production, packaging, and usage, step by step.

We also view this page not as a completed manifesto, but as a developing work in progress.

Four Principles

Four starting points for a better product.

We strive to develop our design and operational decisions around these core ideas.

01 · DESIGN

Longevity of use

Designing products that can be used repeatedly in everyday life, not just for trends.

02 · MATERIAL

Better choice

Evaluating material decisions together with performance, durability, and intended use.

03 · LESS

As much as needed

Striving to reduce unnecessary parts, packaging, and design details.

04 · PROGRESS

Continuous improvement

Instead of claiming perfection, measuring, learning, and making better decisions.

How We Think

We look at a product's life from beginning to end.

01

Design

We aim to develop designs that reduce unnecessary complexity, remain timeless, and meet real usage needs.

02

Material

In material selections, we aim to evaluate not only appearance, but also durability, maintenance needs, service life, and product function together.

03

Production

Making our production processes more transparent and controlled, reducing unnecessary production and waste while maintaining quality, are among the areas we continuously want to improve.

04

Packaging

We try to distinguish between what is necessary for a product to reach the customer safely and unnecessary packaging.

05

Use

One of the best products is a product that is used for a long time. Therefore, we believe that correct sizing, proper use, and maintenance information are also part of product design.

No Greenwashing

We will not claim to know what we don't.

Regarding sustainability, we prefer not to use figures, certifications, or environmental benefits that we cannot verify. When we can share concrete information about a material, production method, or project, we want to state it clearly.

Becoming better is an ongoing process. Therefore, we will update this page as new goals, material changes, and measurable improvements occur.

Moving Forward

Where do we look next?

As we grow, we aim to create more measurable and transparent goals.

01

More transparency

Making material, production, and maintenance information for products more accessible to customers.

02

Longer use

Considering the product's lifespan as one of the main criteria in design and quality decisions.

03

Less unnecessary things

Continuing to reduce unnecessary elements in product, packaging, and operational processes.
